time for oil change

Im changing my oil this weekend and was wondering has anyone used the motor flush before the change and also with my truck havin 300k someone said maybe go with a heavier weight oil i use 10w30 if so what weight should i go with.Also i know there has been a lot of talk about how many quarts to put in should i go with 5 quarts or 6 ?

don't do the flush, use 10x30 if you have good oil pressure already. Drop in 5 quarts, start up, let circulate, and add accordingly with 6th quart.
