Has anyone used the pre cut tint kits on their Tahoe OEM tail lights? I want to do the light tint, but I am not sure how it works with the OEM tails because of the indent in the middle. They have some on eBay for pretty cheap, wondering if it is worth it. Any help would be appreciated.

These are the ones I am thinking about:

Dude don't try it, I did almost two years ago and it backfired and spitted on my face!!
Those indentions are impossible, just go with a medium/light shade at www.jonstintedtails.com, it'll be way better and still legal too!

I used nite shades and cleared mine and they just as good as the ones that's been tinted with automotive paint! Just make sure you water sand out all the orange peel on the clear and they will be slick!

Mine were done really dark to match my truck, with automotive paint and clear, wet sanded and buffed and they came out great! This is the way to go...I don't trust that film and it looks to be a pain in the ass......IMO!

I bought some nice tail lights but they are not smoked like they appeared on the site. Rather than deal with returning them I thought nite shades would be an option. I don't want them dark, just a slight smoke. Is nite shades going to be too dark or is it pretty easy to get the amount of tint I want?
