Tint Question?

So as you can tell my Denali fronts have tint on them, looks to match the rears pretty well, i look at it all the time from every angle and it almost matches dead on with the rears, except for maybe on the inside looking out it kinda has a different shade of color but still darkness matches. My question is do you think the previous owner had this done or maybe a dealership or is it factory? What % do you think it is? I see a lot of Denali's that look like it has the same.

20% is the closest match to the factory tint, so I'm sure thats what it is.

cant quite tell, but from my previous vehicles, id say...

5% on front doors & 20% over the factory smoke 20% for rest.

not sure your tint laws...not factory or dealer,
def. previous owner.

luv the look but cant have it here & get it inspected (w/o getting a tkt @ some point)
otherwise i would do it myself

Yep. Im sure of it. All oem tint is 20%. Pretty common practice

Don't know any cops like that, i could get one to put a tint meter on it but then they'd leave a ticket as well lol. & i don't think its as dark as 5%, an old lady had it before me so unless she was a former gangbanger i couldn't see her doing much more than maybe asking for 20% to match the factory rear tint. Mainly asking becuz i want to get a matching strip on the windshield and also if it is 20% on the fronts then thats illegal here so that sucks. Oh and i can get a side pic tomorrow thats the only one i have as of now.

Most inspection places will meter for $20.

Take it to the tint shop they should have a meter too or be able to tell you how dark it is, aslong as you drive normally they shouldn't bust your balls on the tint, the front strip id just go as dark as possible aslong as your above that line on the windshield your good
