I just wanted to rack y'alls brain on selling my XL. I don't have enough post on here to list it so what's some good sites that have been used? Autotrader, cars.com, and Craigslist have been thought of just didn't know if there might be more.

Thanks -Eric

Those are the ones I have always used, off of which I have always been successful and sold the vehicle.

Sold 4 vehicles on Autotrader within 30 days of listing, 2 on Craigslist also. Personally I like Autotrader as the buyers are usually very serious about their purchase. Craigslist Ive found people definitely haggle more.

Yeah that's what I hate about Craigslist. Did you find the Autotrader you have to pay for to be worth it?

I have had success with Craigslist and Facebook classifieds in the past. Have a couple friends that have had success with Autotrader.

I paid the $70 for the listing that keeps it up until it sells. I just sold my wifes old Audi A4 on it (also listed here in the vehicles section), it was up for about 3 weeks, then all of a sudden I was getting calls left and right, and once the calls came in, took 2 days to make it final.

Had the same experience two years ago with an Xterra. Sat on Autotrader about 2 weeks, then calls started coming in, and it was gone within a week.

All the ones Ive sold on Autotrader I have gotten within $500 what I was asking for. The two I sold on Craigslist were always a pain to meet up with the people, and its as if they are expecting to make a steal with you. Too many random TXT messages with Craigslist too with messages like "Ill give you $2000 cash right now" when youre asking $6k. Annoying.

I do have to agree with that. People do like to low ball on craigslist. Have to weed out the B.S tire kickers

I've used Craigslist a lot and ya you do get those random texts but they're always easy to spot. I definitely get less spam text by doing the 555-fourthreetwo8 kind of phone number. A spam bot doesn't usually pick up on spelling out the number so try that. I tried autotrader once and got nothing. But I did use autotrader to buy my suburban
