Tire options for 20" LTZ wheels

want to put a meaty tire on some stock ltz wheels. either nitto grapplers or cooper zeon ltz's. my question is the size.. how big can i go? 305/50/20? this would be on a 2008 LTZ

Here's my 09 Suburban on LTZ 20's. I'm running 305/50/20 Falken's. Only rubbing I had was the bumpout in the rear fender liner for the autoride rods. I heated them with a heat gun and massaged them back so they wouldn't rub.
