35 is a good standard. Get some sort of onboard air, even one of the $20 specials at the parts house. Then you can play with different pressures, and see what does what. :)

I'm running 30psi in front and 40psi in the back, but then I have a lot of weight on my rear. Oh wait, we are talking about the truck right.....

What manufacturer of tire are you using.

Brand, model and ply?

If you use a 6 ply truck tire - I would suggest that you use 34 in the front at 10* - which will translate to about 40 psi at 32*

The pressure in the tire will go down when the tire is cold and will go up as you drive it.

I used 32 psi in the rear tires at 32* - with 6 ply tires.

If you trailer - I would suggest about 45 Psi in the rear tires - because I had problems with breaking belts from low tire pressure with Firestones and Good years..

You have "E" rated tires right? I ran 50 psi on my BFG A/T's that were "E" rated at a max of 80 psi.
