I have a 97 4x4 5.7 Tahoe 4 door stock suspension , I bought some 20 inch centerline stingray 3 rims with 275/45r20 tires and 1 needs replaced maybe 2 but too me that size tire only looks good on a 2wd or lowered obs, I can get a whole set of 275/60r20 tires 2 have slight ware, but still decent shape for $65 I am just not sure if they will rub, I asked on a few facebook pages for obs Tahoe's 1 guy said his rubbed with stock nbs 20's with 275/60r20 and lots of others said they have ran the same size
and bigger with no lift,

well those put you at 33" od and 10.83 wide. 285/75/16 come in about 32.8t and 11.22 wide. you can run those on a stock 4wd with out rub if suspension is in good order. if you goes above 12" wide overall you will maybe rub unless you crank the bars. of course in the rear you can likely go bigger.
