Nitto 420 and 421 is good. Bridgestone Dueler has a decent reputation as well. Toyo is also a good brand.

Are you talking about the Falken Rocky Mountains? I have a set on my Blazer and they are okay for the money, but don't use them in any snow out here.

The new BFG A/T KO2's are nice, but expensive.

The 420's will be TERRIBLE in the snow.
Actually that's not true. I had 420's through two winters and they worked well for me in snow and we had probably a handful or a little more where there was a foot of fresh snow on the ground. Never had an issue at all that was even lowered 2/4. This winter will be winter #3 as soon as I put my winter setup back on again.

You must have really low standards. They are even pretty awful in the rain.

Zero siping, no way, no how those can do jack in the snow.

This is what I'll be running, saving the 420s for the dry

Of course, winter performance is extremely critical to me. When the weather gets really bad that is exactly when I leave to pull my snowmobile trailer in the direction of the worst of it.

I'm just saying that with the 420's in all levels of snow I got around no problem. Never got stuck and rarely even had to put it in 4wd even in a foot of snow. IMO that's good performance and NEVER had an issue in rain. I wouldn't give them a good review if it wasn't for my personal experience.

Have you ever personally ran the 420 @Deephaven ?

I currently run the 421q on rear and the faulken ziex up,front.

I dont worry one bit about wet weather traction or hardcore braking.

Eventually i will have the 421's on all four corners, but for now.thats what i have and it works dang good for the retarded driving i do.

I would, have the 420's out back, but all the discount tires around here seem to be discontinuing them, when i bought tires i couldnt find a pair with in 50 miles.
