Tire Width Questions

I am looking into putting a wide tire on my Chevy Tahoe. I currently have a set of 16x8 rims with a 265/70/16 tire. I'm looking to go a little wider and thought about using a 305 width tire on the rear. My question is, has anyone done this on stock suspension with 16" wheels and how does it look? I was even debating doing a 305 in the rear with something a little skinnier in the front.

285 75 16 is going to be the biggest i'd run but it would be tight on stock suspension. don't do a staggered fitment it will look stupid unless your running staggered big wide wheels on a drop kit. your not going to find any wider tires in the same height for 16's. need to go to at least an 18 or 20.


why do you want to go to a wider tire so badly?
