I want to get new or gently used tires for my truck before I move to SD. I have 31/10.5/15's on it right now and they are sooooo hard to come by I want something non metric and easier to find.

Well, the metric system is more common form of measurement for non off-road or AT tires. I say look around for metric anyways : 275/75/15, that's almost the same size as what you have, only off by a negligible difference. Also, you might find exactly what you are looking for at a decent price online. Have them shipped to your house, take them to a local tire shop, put them on for cheap and you're good to go. What are you willing to spend? That may help a little more.

I guess I don't understand how you can't find 31's as they are a VERY common size and should be sold at virtually any tire store. Or even on craigslist. I used to work at a tire store and we stocked 5 different 31's and could order countless others.

Like Bad Bow said, 31 x 10.50 x 15 is one of the most commonly used tires out there??? Unless you mean used, they might be hard to find, since most people use them all the way up. It's like trying to find a set of used 33 x 12.50 x 15 tires, since they are so widely sought after as well. Buying them new is no problem, finding a good used set is difficult.

put some new falken rocky mountain at tires on it and be done with it! why get a used tire? u then run the risk of it being a crap tire... bad wear from the previous owner... just get a new tire and get discount tire to do the work. do what i did go in looking for a cheaper all terrain tire and then look at something alil more expensive and get them to sell the more expensive tire to you for the price of the cheap one. i did that with a $144 hankook and he sold me my falken's for the same price. they were $183. dont go used tires. might just be me though, i didnt have good luck with a used set.

Dunno. I tried finding one used one and NO ONE had any. New ones are freaking expensive.

I want slightly used or new tires. The ones I have on there rub against the inside tire wall when I turn real tight so something slightly smaller would be good. I don't have any idea on how to do this.....

I want something a little bit smaller because it is rubbing my walls. The 31 news I have looked at are very expensive I am out of work the wife is making 8$ an hour so can't afford the most expensive thing but gotta get these tires replaced before we leave for South Dakota.

Not sure what your mods are but I was running 31 10.5s on my dropped 2wd and they rubbed up front. I went to 30 9.5s, no rubbing and were a bit cheaper.
