To debadge the liftgate, or not to debage...

Should I debadge the "Yukon" and "GMC" seen on the liftgate?

I am debating whether or not I want to go ahead and take off the emblems on the lift gate. I've decided to leave the ones on the front doors and the front GMC because I am proud to wear those tags, but the asymmetrical look in the back is not rubbing me right. The UT Longhorn will be coming off for sure, as I am about to start taking classes at Texas State. The question is, do I leave the Yukon on the left and GMC on the right (I would plasti dip the red to black), or remove them both?

Just curious what the masses think. I've seen too many awesome things here to potentially miss out on some good opinions.

Yep, I've seen that mentioned. Its about all the argument I need to be honest. Like I said, the lack of symmetry really bothers me.

if your goign to leave the ones on the front doors then i'd leave them. I think that painting them all black might look cool kinda a ghost effect like the last few years of the Trans am's door emblems. just a thought but prolly the most work of all.

Maybe this will help:

Truth is you can always take them off and see how you like it, and if you don't they're pretty easy to put back on.

Definitely looks better with them off. Why didn't I think of editing the picture? Thanks for that. Perhaps I could find a black/chrome GMC trailer hitch plug that doesn't look bad. Like I said, I'm proud to have that GMC tag.
