If I am remembering correctly, to remove the fan blades I increased tension on the belt which held the pulley from spinning.

I put the C clamp on the belt, but it didn't work for me.If I am remembering correctly, to remove the fan blades I increased tension on the belt which held the pulley from spinning.
Did you wack it to the left or to the right Rene?I've seen videos where people don't use shit to hold the belt or pulley, just a wrench hit with hammer and there done.
I did the same but didn't work at alI, then i noticed there were a couple of holes in the water pump pulley. "This is were the hours glass starts to spin in my head". I got a coat hanger ran it through the pump and wrapped it around the alternator, got a wrench with a jack handle on it whacked it with a hammer and got it to break loose.
No I don't want to do that. You could cut the fan itself off with a grinder/sawzaw then put an impact with a socket on the shaft and give it some dugga duggas.
