I've got my 05 Tahoe 4x4 in the shop and they just told me what I thought was the tranny slipping is the torque converter slipping when its warming up once up to temp it acts fine. I'm going to pick it up but need to start planning what the next step is...
With that being said
2005 Tahoe 5.3 4x4
Only mods are body and suspension related to date
Truck is stock engine and drivetrain
Odo: 127k
Future plans included
Long Tubes with Stock tailpipe and high flow muffler
Some kind of CAI or Intake tube mod
Performance tune
Maybe a cam (but more than likely just intake exhaust and tune)
Have studied the Corvette servo and will do that when i put in the torque converter.
What converter would you recommend and are there any other tranny mods parts ect that I should consider when putting in a new torque converter and corvette servo?
And Yes I want to retain the ability to tow. Yes its a lowered 4x4 tahoe but I like being able to tow less thank 5k if I have to.
