I'm bringing my 2015 Denali in next week for this issue. It started a month or so back very intermittently and has gotten to the point where it does it almost every time it's driven. I bought it new and it's just over 37K miles. Called my buddy (parts manager) at the GMC dealer where I have it serviced and he immediately knew what it was. I'll report back once it's officially diagnosed and repaired.

I had the TSB done for the vibes done around 102k miles on my 2016. They covered it under warranty. It solved the issue for about 10k miles and now it is back to doing it again. After some reading i opted for a $20 fix of Lube Guard Synthetic ATF protectant. haven't put it in yet but hopefully it helps. i haven't reached out to the dealer yet, but i am sure it wont be covered this time but who knows. Anyone know of a upgraded Torque Convertor that should work better than the factory unit?

I don't know if I would put anything in transmission until talking with dealer after all they did warranty fluid change in TSB I believe they are supposed to do fluid change before new converter.

In reading some threads they are getting help with this problem from what I have read sometimes depend on dealer, but you can also ask service manager to contact GM on your behalf.

Just a small update, as time will tell, but i put (2) 10oz of LubeGuard ATF additive in the trans and on my first little test run of about 20 miles the shutter is completely gone. Hopefully this will be at least a 10k mile fix so we will see. I don't drive much so it may take a while to get there.

I was lucky with mine. 59,600 miles (2018 Denali, 10 speed), brought it to the dealer and they replaced the entire converter under warranty.
Big difference! Smooth as silk now.
