Not to bash atomic's coil over conversion, but has anyone given thought to converting over to the strut set-up on the later suv's?
why not cut the upper mount from the new truck and weld it to the nbs?
You would have a better ride and more options for spring selection. It looks like a fairly straight forward job.

I have a set of nbs lower control arms, I would need to compare them to a nnbs and see if the meaurements and mounting points have changed any. GM isn't known for making big changes if they don't have to. if they are a bolt in, it won't be a big job at all.

Funny, I was working on a 2014 1500 the other day and was wondering the same thing. I may have to check fitment if we have time for the next one we work on.

I'm actually going to do that set up on my YD. I already bought the struts from a 2013 yukon. Now i have to fabricate the upper strut mount.

So has anyone thought of swapping to the 1500 truck coil spring setup? Would be a direct swap. Are coil overs that much better than separate springs and shocks?
