Touch screen is black but still works . . .

Unfortunately not yet. The screen worked again for a short while before dying. I put a DVD on the other day and it played on the touchscreen so at this point I’m leaning towards the cord or HMI being bad. I haven’t had the time to try and play with it just yet

Interesting my screen went black and would not come back on. Gm said I needed new screen... 1k later ok installed it so then it powered up and boom went blank...they jumped the screen and then said I need a new cable....however that part is discontinued and I cannot get it anywhere. Straight up loosing my mind.

Our screen works but went black, worked for a few days and is black again.
I've heard it's the cable and we don't need a screen/radio but where did you get this cable?
