I didn't see an area for towing focused suspension, so I'll put this in general. Mods please move accordingly if needed.

If I were to replace the 5.3/60E with a 6.0/80E along with the rear, t-case and front diff, would the 2500 springs work from a truck in the tahoe? Just thinking out loud here. When the existing motor goes, a 6.0/80E will take it's place anyways, so just wondered about the rest of the drive train.

If you are talking about the torsion bars in the front then I believe they would work, but the springs in the back wont. 2500's have leafs and we have coils. There is a nice air kit that would help you keep the nice ride when not towing but have the extra support when towing, they are airbags that you feed into your coils and run a small compressor or a valve that you can manually fill up. They say they will give a 2000 pound boost to your load capacity which is way too much for a tongue weight. First thing I would look at though is your brakes, my silverado would run brakes off when towing and it has the same front brake setup as the tahoes.
