I went and picked up a 20 ft aluminum featherlite trailer to tow my race car with. I headed down highway 1 to the shop building a cage, and then back up over thehill and home.
Trailered car weighs 2900 lbs before cage, so probably 3100 lbs now.

Trailer weighs 1900 lbs.

About 5 hours driving at 55-60 mph even up the hill.

I avg 15.9 mpg hand calculated. No mods on the truck. It currently has the stock airbox on it (went and got an oil change at dealer and need to feel out their policy on intakes, as I have the airaid in the garage).

I get about the same when pulling my 3\4 ton military trailer. My last load was about 2800lbs. Trailer alone is about 1100lbs.
