I went through several pages of threads looking for info, however I came up unsucessful.

I am looking for options to improve the rear suspension while towing. I have a '02 Yukon 5.3L with the tow package. When I hookup my car hauler, the rear of the Yukon sags a bit and I would like to level it off. Can I add a helper spring or do I need to go with airbags?

Thanks,
Britain

Helper springs are for leafs only as far as i know of. Air bags are the most common type of load leveler for coil sus.

I just got back from the trailer shop and I decide to get a set of stabilizer bars. We will see how much that helps before going for some helper bags.

My sagging issues were resolved on my 04 Z71 when I installed the Air Lift 1000 bags. Installing the bags took 1-2 hours and was done easily in the driveway. Can't complain for less than $100 and easy to install.

After a few months I did get the compressor for easy use and filling. Recommend this but it does increase cost and install time.

I bought them from JC Whitney
