so this past week i drove my tahoe from california to texas and it drove great but once we got here i noticed my left rear tire had a nail in it. So I didnt worry too much about it because there was nothing coming out and this morning my tpms sensor light came on saying front right tire pressure is at 22. it looked fine but i filled it anyways. The sensor didnt adjust at all. I just checked all of my tires and my front right is at 40(because i filled it) back right is 38 front left is 38 and back left is 23. The sensors read these totally different. does anyone know where these readings could have gone wrong? im totally lost.

I doubt its broken because those sensors just don't break like that, could have a local DFW Discoun Tire check it for free or like $10 though.

When the tires were rotated most likely the TPMS system may not have been reprogrammed so it does not truly know where the low tire really is. Try doing the relearn (instructions are in owners manual) and see what happens. This must be done every time the tires are rotated.

Haha I think the reprogram thing is annoying (tried it for like 1min), I rotated my tires and left it like that, as long as I keep all my tires at 35PSI I guess it will be ok for now till I'm not lazy anymore.

My TPSM have been jacked up since bought the truck.... I think they are totally wack, how hard it it to check your air pressure. My service light was on constantly when I got the truck and we tried the relearn over and over and over again even removing the valve stems and letting air out like that with hopes of triggering the sensor no good. So, I changed the sensor we thought was the problem...still wouldn't learn. Finally i went to discount and had them do the learn with the handheld and it worked..... for about 5 miles....then back to discount, tried the handheld again. It worked just fine for a while but on the highway the service propt would come on. Now, it'***** or miss.... sometimes it's on at start, sometimes it comes on when going 60+, sometimes it's fine..... what a hunk of shit feature.......my onstar reads it fine though.
