The shop didn't have a scan tool?
Stop by a tire shop somewhere and see if they can run out and reset it with their scanner. If they do tip the guy a fiver. They will probably do it as a courtesy since it only takes a minute.

+1 for this. There was probably an issue when you reset it. The TPMS sensors with rubber valve stems don't always take when you use the 'let air out' method.

The units in the tires eventually fail as well and sometimes need to be replaced. I would do as the others mentioned first and try a reset and hope for the best.

My RF was mixed up with my RR so according to the manual no big deal to relearn... I'm on my second day of messing with it, the furthest I got was to the RR and now I don't even get a honk at the first tire.

I had been getting the honk after 5 seconds letting air out of the first tire then maybe 15-20seconds for the RF, now nothing except my 2 honks showing its in the relearn mode to begin with.
When it times out it doesn't even honk twice like it had earlier but maybe that's only if at least one programs?

Disconnected the ground for an hour and was able to get both fronts but nothing from RR, skipped it once and got a beep from LR so something must have happened to the RR once I hit the relearn button.

If you keep driving the light will go off. It did on mine at least

Went to the tire shop, in the 5 days of messing with it I couldn't tell you how many times I aired and deflated those tires.

Before I went to the tire shop I tried one last time and made it to the forth tire but it timed out.

2 minutes at the shop...working now!!!

I did it by the book and I'd say over 50% of the time I wouldn't even get the first tire honk.

You have to reset all 4 tires which is why both your rears are coming on, they didn't get re learned. When you start the re learn process it clears out all 4 TPMS.
