Most likely going to trade my Z71 hoe for a 2007 2500 ltz with 8in lift on 37" trail grapplers. Also found a white 1500 ltz with 6in lift on 37s. Really wanting to go back to diesel. I miss the power. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1321578934.887507.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1321578934.887507.jpg

have you checked diesel prices?

i have a nice diesel 2wd truck, and it's so loud, and so $$ to drive, it has been parked for ~6 months, unless needed.

the Tahoe is MUCH easier to drive than a HD truck.

good luck, looks COOL!!

Both trucks look sick.. Yeah, that diesel price is gonna ****** your wallet. Yeah you may drive 5mi a day for work. But what about everything else. Either way, if you feel like its a good decision go for it!

are you serious? Yes...if the 2500 was stock, but it is on 8" of lift and 37s...it is lucky to get 12mpg on a nice cold day. And on top of that diesels don't warm up in 5 miles, so your getting worse than that and it is higher than premium. I love a diesel, don't get me wrong... I say go for it, but you will be spending much more on fuel.

my 2wd 3500 gets ~18, Tahoe gets ~18.

it's $115 to fill up my big dog, and most pumps cut off at $75, so you have to pay & pump twice.

i say do what you want, life is about fun, not about being "reasonable"

Do it! That truck is all kinds of awesome! Who cares about the mileage, even though I find it hard to believe that with the lift and tires that it is going to be worse than the Tahoe is getting as it sits.

Besides, if you guys care about mileage, why are you driving big, heavy V8 suv's?
