are you serious? Yes...if the 2500 was stock, but it is on 8" of lift and 37s...it is lucky to get 12mpg on a nice cold day. And on top of that diesels don't warm up in 5 miles, so your getting worse than that and it is higher than premium. I love a diesel, don't get me wrong... I say go for it, but you will be spending much more on fuel.either way that diesel mileage will crush the mileage he is getting with the tahoe
And that is why we are in the situation we are in... hahamy 2wd 3500 gets ~18, Tahoe gets ~18.
it's $115 to fill up my big dog, and most pumps cut off at $75, so you have to pay & pump twice.
i say do what you want, life is about fun, not about being "reasonable"
