Hello all I have a 09 yukon xl Denali and does anyone know of the location or how to hook up the hot leg for your trailer on a older tahoe it was near the fuse box and I had to just add that and fuse and was all set. Any ideas on yukon or would it all ready be hooked up.

Are you installing a brake booster? I know there's a red 14ga wire between the fuse box and firewall you have to connect to the 12v source in the fuse box.

If you have the trailer package, there is the wires for the trailer plug outlet taped to the wiring harness under the hood quite low about where the throttle resides but under the hood. It has a red wire and a blue wire in it with connector lugs on them of different hole sizes for the blue and the red. They connect to the front two studs of the under hood fuse box, sizes of connectors match the studs, you will supply the appropriate metric nuts and washers
