My Tahoe used to make hissing sound when i pull trailer and i was hoping that issue is resolved on newer models, but still hissing with my 2015i Denali.
What happens is that air pressure (not really a pressure, but its negative-pressure) created between truck and a trailer will pull on the rear glass and will make the weather strip separate just enough from the glass to have air leak, which makes sound. It happens with regardless of type of enclosed trailer: v-nose, flat nose (doesn't happen with open trailer) and happens over speed of 70mph
Do you guys have any tricks that might work? Here are few that I've learned over time:
1. Duck tape the rear window on long runs
2. Rubber door insulators with one side with adhesive, stick it on weather rubber inside of window and shut the window over it
3. Use spoiler on top rear of the suv (mpg will go down)
