Hey, i have a question for you all... I have an 02 z71 Tahoe and im thinking about gettin some 24s for the truck. What id like to know is if i would have any problems trailering a 23ft boat with 24s?

i dont see any issues, i have 22's on mine and tow a full size boat inboard. just be sure to have a brake controller installed if the trailer doesnt have tongue brakes. you might also talk to tire guys about side wall strength. and dont run much lower then 40 series. IMHO

I've pulled my 23' toyhauler on 22's a ton of times and it had no problem, if its super heavy I'd look into trailer brakes like mention before, or otherwise look into upgrading your truck brakes!

Ive asked around and everyone has had the same response, to stick with 22s because the tires are bigger and better when towing heavy loads. Also, if i were to go with the 24s would i also need a lift kit?
