Put a PATC transmission in 6 months ago. Worked great until yesterday.
Its my wifes 95 Yukon SLT with the original motor (218K). I replace the transmission with a stage 3 Raptor with a billet TC and a 2800 stall.
Anyway, she was at the mall and when she got in the truck and started it, it would not go into any gear.
I went to go rescue her and the trans fluid level smelled burnt and it read high on the dipstick.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot the problem. Is it a pump problem? I have not had a chance to get it towed home today because I was waiting on PATC to tel me if they were going to honor their warranty, even though it is not even two week past.
Should I pull the tran fluid line to the radiator and see if I am getting fluid?
Any help would be appreciated.
