Other than hitting reset on my Modis Ultra what is the proper procedure for the adaptive reset? Got my level 3 trans and all in. Shifts are good but all wacky right now and a quick relearn would be nice.

I could be VERY wrong but I think it just relearns based on your driving habit. @swathdiver may have more info

It does yes. But in the event of a trans repair or rebuild it can be fully reset and their is a fast relearn procedure that dealers use. They reset with a tech 2 and do a fast relearn. I can do a reset myself but im unsure of the fast relearn procedure as it normally involves driving with specific circumstances if that makes sense.

I may just have the dealer do it when they do my brake recall work.

There are three stages to the Service Fast Learn Adapts.

1. PARK test setup
2. Drive mode
3. Reverse mode

All is prompted by the scan tool. This is from the manual from my truck, which is previous generation but same trans. Send me an email and I'll send the details I have over.

I appriciate that. Dealer was able to get me in today for the vacuum pump and brake programming.

Had them do the relearn/reset. They took care of it for me.
