Can I use Dex IV in my 05 Tahoe?

yes. i think Dex IV can be used anywhere Dex III is recommended. read the back of a bottle and it should say.

I`d go with Dexron VI. I used it when i changed my fluid last year.

I got Valvoline from amazon prime it will be here tomorrow.

the valvoline max life is synthetic and people have great results with it.
