Trans Shifting Issues

I recently bought a 97 Tahoe LT with 169k on it. After driving for about 10-15 mins , ive noticed that the trans starts to shift hard and it gets worse the more you drive. BUT the weird thing is if you pull over put the truck in to park, turn it off , wait for 10-15 secs then restart it , the trans seems to work fine. Anyone have any ideas what going on?

Btw: Ive searched on here, ive seen similar problems as mine but all them dont seem to work fix the issue after restarting the truck.

check your tranny and pcm connectors for dirty or damaged terminals that may be effecting signal passages.
