It looks like my top transmission line is leaking, that goes to the cooler in front of the radiator. At the radiator it looks pretty straight forward, just remove the clip with a pick and pull the hose out. Not sure what I'm in for at the other end, couldn't see it from underneath. Has anyone done this? Just wondering what I will have to take apart to get to it. Here's the line I'm going to replace.

I had the same issue with two of my hoses.

What I did was bought 5 feet of fuel injection hose from Advance Auto and small hose clamps. I used a small pipe cutter to remove the metal to rubber junctions in my hoses and replace that with the fuel injection line and I put double hose clamps on each end.

So far, this has worked great and I haven't seen a drop on my front skid plate.

Even though this route is about the same cost as replacing the line with new GM hoses from Amazon. I feel the reliability of this solution is better and easier to apply a bush-fix if it becomes necessary.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Mark

Well, I purchased a new GM line and replaced it. I had to pull the passenger's side head light to gain access to the line where it goes into the cooler. Took me about an hour and a half, did the two belts with GM belts also while I was at it.
