I'm in the market for a new tranny and torque converter.
05 Tahoe 4x4 5.3
Trucks getting CAI Long tubes and cat back now and will be programmed after tranny replacement.
I do some towing but nothing to heavy and usually not for long distances but you never now when your going to haul a boat or something!
Just need a strong reliable tranny and a torque converter with a little more get up and go.
I've heard a Trailblazer SS T Converter can be used or should I look the the aftermarket?
Also I work at a dealership so I can get GM parts cheaper than most.
Would a GM tranny with a added corvette servo be good enough woith a higher stall converter?
