transmission temperature

I would like to have on my 2000 Tahoe the transmission temperature in the gauge cluster.

my questions:
is this feature already in the cars harness integrated ?
that means do I only have to add an Instrument Cluster - e.g. from a Denali - to have it work ?
is the trans temp sender already in my car ?

Yes, it is.
Atleast it is in my 2003 model.
I ordered a new cluster from USSpeedo with the trans temp gauge. It was just plug & play.

I beleave the 2000-2002 are different. I do not think it will work. I to want to do this to my wife's 2002
