So I have seen several pics and post on everyone's level kits and everyone talking about trimming to avoid rubbing. What exactly are you trimming? Im looking to add the level kit with 305/50/20 terra grapplers at the beginning of the year so im trying to get all my ducks in a row. Pics would also be great.

thanks in advance.

Usually just the plastic liner, you should also be able to heat it and reshape it.

Yep just the plastic liner. Just turn your steering wheel all the way to the left (after you get the new tires) and put the vehicle in park. Then get out and see where it's touching and cut around that area. Do the same for the right side. I had a 2.5/1.5 leveling kit with these exact tires (nitto terra grappler 305/50/20) and had to do all of this.

I went to Lowe's and asked a worker for something that would cut hard plastic and he gave me something that looked like pliers that were curve-shaped but not sure what they were called exactly. They worked well and cut into the liner very easily though.
