I just took my drivers door off and installed a new AC Delco power window motor and regulator in the Yukon.. Now when I operate the power windows it's making the interior lights (and possibly the headlights) dim significantly...

What the heck did I do? Pull a wire or something? Is it maybe a short in the new power window motor?

It does it only when I hit one of the power window switches on the drivers panel.

the window tracks and seals are likely dragging the window movement causing a bigger amp drawer. when they are good, you should not notice hardly and amp draw on the lights.

you can't. you likely have a new horizontal metal track if you installed a whole motor regulator assy. the seals and felt-like tracks tho are more difficult to work with. if they are dragging the window movement down then they really need to be replaced. lubing them is not really something that is done.

No you got that already. It can either be a bad unit or the the seal/tracks in the upper half of door that you can see through might be worn and sticking making it bind up. Post a video of you rolling up and down your front window's.
