Hey guys. Been trying for a year or two to fully resolve a leak I have between my cat, which is walker brand and my original muffler. The cat surface is clean and so is the muffler side but its beveled a bit and with the use of two gaskets and high temp red rtv, it still blows out after driving eventually. Any tips out there? Shame is I love the way my truck sounds but this gap in my exhaust system can't be good. Pic attached .]

flange was not aligned properly when built likely. you can cut one flange loose from pipes. use one gasket and remount flange the with those mated properly re-weld pipes to flange.
