I plan on replacing the spark plugs, plug wires, cap & rotor, change my oil etc. What plugs do everyone run and wires? Also whats some good oil to run in the 5.7s? I currently have 191900 and going. I just replaced the water pump, belt, belt tensioner, thermostat, and fan clutch yesterday. So next on my list is a good tune up.

I use NAPA oil and filters. Oil is Valvoline. The filters are made by WIX. Great quality. Get the gold or silver filter.

AC Delco parts for tune at Rock Auto

Cap- #D329A $34.79
Rotor- #D465 $8.21
Wires- #9718Q $52.79
Plugs- #R44LTS6 $1.37 ea. times 8
Fuel Filter- #GF652 $8.49

Make sure you use a dab only of anti seize on the plug threads when install. Will spread as threaded in.

Best that way, no adaption of aftermarket parts. Less headache and quality is good and dependable. If you can wait for the parts from Rock Auto you likely save some $ too. Can use an AC Delco oil filter if want to. Check the air filter and replace as needed. Would be a good idea to get some carb cleaner and clean the throttle body at the throttle plate area and get the MAF sensor cleaner at the parts store and follow the directions and clean the MAF. Just cleaning those can help with idle smoothness and throttle response from a stop.

It only took 3-4 days to receive my water pump, belt tensioner, belt, fan clutch and thermostat from them. Ive always used them for all my cars. I will probably use an ac delco filer as my walmart has them for $3.97 a piece when i pick up my oil

Can't beat that. Do it! I have used Rock Auto a bunch over the years as long as I can wait for a part to get here. Love those guys.

These are the PF52E filters. The E designates economy filter. They are junk. Buy a WIX 51036 or at least find an ACDelco regular PF52.
