Well, I decided since my truck is about to hit 90,000 miles, I was going to change out the plugs and wires. I finished it up last night. Once I finished I was looking at the throttle body and said why not. So I also took the TB off and cleaned it out. It only took me about a hour in a half to finish. Used AC Delco plugs. Can't remember what wires I used, but they had a lifetime warranty. The truck feels a little different but not much. It runs a little smoother, not that it was bad before. Now I plan on flushing out the fluids one by one. Goin make this truck last.

Just did mine yesterday as well. AC Delco iridium plugs and AC wires are what I used. I also replaced all 4 O2 sensors with Bosch sensors... Had 1 bad one but did all 4 anyway. Mine is a keeper also. My wife drives it now but I will upgrade her to an 07 or newer truck and keep this one. Then I can really get into modding it.

while your at it dont forget your air filter and to clean the MAF sensor too. since your already in there anyways and it makes for a better running rig.

I installed an aftermarket intake about a month ago. Has a washable filter and I went ahead and cleaned the MAF when I installed the intake. Although after driving around today, I noticed the idle was a little low when sitting for awhile, about 550 to 500. It even acted like it wanted to shut off on me one time. Not sure what that is about.

MAF cleaner...just remove it and spray it down per instructions

What he said but make sure that the straw doesn't make contact with those little string things inside the MAF
