Tuning up my xl 2500

Hi guys,

I'm planning on tuning up my XL 2500, I'm going for something a little more aggressive. Bellow, you dudes can find a list of the parts that i have in mind and plan on adding.

Well that exhaust is listed as "true dual" exhaust and if it is what the picture shows its a scam already. I see only one pipe going into that muffler. Its also hella expensive for something of ebay.
You can probably find a real exhaust cheaper elsewhere i would need more than just xl 2500 for information to be more specific.

Dude, it's your money and you can spend it that way if you want, but like Drakon mentioned, there are other options.

-For the tires, I would only suggest that you get a set with a load rating appropriate for your 2500.
-Slotted and dimpled rotors are purely aesthetic in the case of your 2500. You will get less life out of them, but that is a concession we make for looks and "performance".
-Our 2500 already have a 3.5" pipe that runs from the secondary cat to the muffler. At the muffler, it necks down to ~3" which is the size it stays through the end of the exhaust. Replacing the secondary with a 3.5" in/out high flow cat or forgetting to reinstall it, and replacing your muffler with a 3.5" in/out will give you better sound and the seat of your pants might feel a difference.
-Lights are a personal choice.
-For the air compressor, have you looked at Arnott? They make a good product and the price isn't too bad.

Aside from the compressor x2 on everything that jason just said. If your after better rotors and you like ebc, ebc offers high grade oem style rotors for most vehicles. Pair those with a set of ebc greenstuff pads and your set. If your after some of the look and less of the price check to see what powerstop has to offer for your vehicle. Powerstop is a good brand i run thier products on most of my vehicles. Just remember to stick with a performance oriented pad afterwards. Basic cheapo pads will really get eaten be performance rotors.

I vote oem grade rotors and quality pads...for tires, like Jason_S said, I'd be more concerned about load rating than mud terrain, unless you plan on going mudding all the time and never towing. I also think a high quality 3.5 IN/OUT muffler and having a shop weld it in will make you happier than that expensive kit.
