Turn Signal Switch

This might be a dumb question and it really is but I know I have to replace my turn signal switch but I was wondering if there was an such thing of a silent directional relay. The reason being is it keeps clicking and I don't want to deal with pulling off the steering wheel. Thanks, feedback is appreciated

I don't think there's such an animal... as the 'click' is a reminder to the driver that it's engaged. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're gonna have to pull the steering wheel to replace the multi-signal switch.

It can be done at home by the DIYer with a few tools rented/purchased from your local parts house and following these two videos (parts/tools are listed in video):

Give yourself a few hours to avoid the frustration associated with rushing through something.

Cliffnotes version: disconnect battery, remove air bag, remove steering wheel, remove old multi-switch, install new multi-switch, install steering wheel, install air bag, reconnect battery.

Did I misunderstand? How would a silent flasher keep you from pulling the steering wheel?

I understand that part and basically understand the whole question but the way he said it made it sound the other way. Basically encouraging him to be more precise in what he is asking for. The way people run sentences together without capital letters and periods sure make it hard to follow sometimes and have to reread the question to figure it out. Quit taking the easy way out! C'mon man!
