Turning over, not starting

Went to start the 07 and all that happened is the starter engaged, turned over the engine like normal, but no start. What was odd is the lock cylinder felt strange, like it was sticking in the start position. It seems to be OK now, but something aint quite right. Battery and charging system checked recently and all good. No codes. This is a 07 5.3 Yukon, about 55k on the odometer.

Looks like it was a fuel pump.

Would have been a good guess, or the fuel pump fuse.

When you're in quiet place like a garage, turn the key to run and you can hear the pump prime the line. Typically if you don't hear that you have a pump issue.
