Gonna put on some 295/70/17 trail grapplers this weekend on my 04 z71 tahoe with keys and stock rear. I have read I might need to turn the rear shock mount bolt around.... you guys think I'll have to do that? If so, how hard would it be for myself to do it?

Yes you should since the lower rear bolt threads stick out towards the tire. It gains you extra clearance on sidewall to during any flex or load of tire it wont drag the bolt. Easy to do when tires are off. Maybe 5 mins of work.

Awesome thanks for the reply. I'm new the site. Hoping these 295/70/17s fit. I'm kinda worried that they will be too big.

I'd say it all depends on your wheels mine rubbed a bit with my 285's, and a lot with wheel spacers to change my stance.

Trim that liner back and look up NorCal mod. Also 295 on stock wheels should clear no issues
