Tweeter and crossover placement

2009 tahoe. No bose. From what I've seen posted in the past my new tweets won't mount in the pillar without some serious work. Anybody have a pic where they mounted theirs in the door. Will it be to bright high in the door or mount just above the mid? Looks like the crossover will fit in the kick panel?? Also thinking about putting some dynomat in the door. What ya think. Thanks for any ideas

How big are the tweeters? A 1 inch tweeter should be easy to mount in the pillar. Couple of minutes with a dremel.

Well that's good to know. I found an old post with someone was having problems with the placement. Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't feel like messing with it without knowing for sure.
