Hi all. Just wanted to get your take on replacing both the front and rear driveshaft u-joints with AC Delco 45U0110. These are the non-greasable type. The originals lasted over 160k miles on my 2005 Tahoe 4wd LT, so I figured this might be the way to go. Actually, only the rear needs to be replaced, but I thought while the driveshaft was out to just go ahead and do both. I love to lift the hood on my vehicles, but losing interest in remembering to lube up a greaseable joint.
Thanks for your thoughts.

If your doing u joints i would always suggest to hit them all while your doing them. As far as greasable vs a sealed u joint either one will probably outlast the truck at 160k. Previous vehicles i haven't seen a big price difference between the two so i generally just default to the sealed style first when available.

Non-greasable is a stronger joint because it is NOT hollow inside for grease to flow through. Food for thought.

Running these, They are listed as greaseable, but they aren't. Work great!
