Uncoded lock

I picked up a new lock for the barn doors its uncoded so has to be coded to my key to match the other locks is that easy to do? Or is it best bringing it somewhere?

Did it come with the tumblers? If so, take apart your old cylinder. The tumblers are numbered or lettered. Just do one at a time and put the spring / tumbler from the new set in the correct order. Make sure to lube it up.

Yup its complete, changed the front two doors (new locks and keys) had someone try to break into it and broke the driverside lock so just replaced them, need to match the new lock to that key, ill most likely bring it somewhere then
or take what is likely your worn key and have a locksmith match it to that for easy action.
Wish it was that easy, see above post

easy action as in key turns smoothly without binding. if using it on a new key have the locksmith put some graphite in it afterwards.
