I removed the 2nd and 3rd row seats of my 2016 Yukon to haul things. Under the 2nd row (under the carpet) is this battery pack looking thing and it also has a grounding wire coming off it that was bolted to the 2nd row seat frame. Can anyone tell me what this is? Can I remove it/cut and terminate the leads if I don't plan on using the 2nd row seats (or is it totally unrelated to the seats?). If I remove it, does the grounding wire still need to be grounded? Any info would be helpful. Yukon 2nd row battery.jpg Thanks!

Do you have the enhanced alarm option? Maybe part of the tilt sensor??
