Anyone know of a good sub that i can put under the second row captain chairs? i want some more subs but dont care for the whole box thing, as i use the third row as well as the small storage in the back. i know about the quick release option, but dont want to be somewhere with them in and not be able to use the back, so under the seats would be the best option. ive looked at several online, but they look kinda wimpy and cheapish. i found this which is cool... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fmpokgq1ImI.

There is definitely not something that will be good quality that will fit under the seat without cutting into the seat or the floor. I barely fit my alpine 4 channel amp under there. Build a box to go between the third row and the back window. If you take the chairs out, you can scoot it up behind the second row

That StealthBox is acutaly not a good option at all to me, it is WAY to overpriced for the way it sounds, and the wattage it puts out.
Also it will shake your center console and dash to hell, trust me when I say that.

The only good option on these SUVs is to have 300-600w RMS sub that is stealth mounted where the jack area is, then move the componets in that area under the passenger side front seat.

I think that you might reconsider to really have things well in your vehicle. Brands such as du-ha would be a perfect fit for your under seat sub in order to compensate your vehicle's need.

That jl console box sounds like crap imo.. and the mtx box isnt much better.. building a custom box for the jack area or realizing that a foot to give up isnt much for a proper speaker setup.. you can do a sealed 12 or a ported 10 in an area the size of a pair of shoe boxes.. not exactly the "whole back of your car filled with speakers".
