Hey guys! First off i haven't been very active on here due to work this summer and started college again now. But I'm getting back into routine and plan to post more, I will also try to answer other threads I've been in too.
Now for my idea. I have a 99 Yukon. And I want to create a awesome front end.
Heres my plan so far along with questions
-swap older style gmc grille on from like a 89 gmc. I like the flatter flush look and the solid 1 piece corner lense, and would do a billet grille with a custom double R emblem (similar to our brand for our ranch)
-swap to the older 4 eyed sealed headlights BUT! I would retrofit 1 on each side with HID projectors for low beams and run amber halo leds to match my bumper lights. And for the other 2 either retrofit them with LED pods for high beams or just mount the pods/light bar in place of the sealed beam.
-or run composite headlights with retrofit of both HIDs and LED pods within the casing and paint inside of hosuing white to match body.
I am currently gathering pics of ideas and will post some so it makes more sense haha.
Some questions now are will the 89 grille be bolt on to 99 body. And would I be able to run composite headlights within it if I do go that route. And if i switched to the sealed beams do I need to find mounts for them to swap?
