Recently my 03 Yukon keeps going into "unknown Driver mode". All the gauges on the cluster stop working but the tack and the speedo. The ABS , Airbag and battery light all turn on. This happens randomly and hardly never happens when I first turn on the truck. Lastly the cluster is new and the previous owner I think had an after market alarm installed at one point because it looks like a rats nest under the dash. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this to happen?

Does it do this for both keys/fobs?

If so it is probably an issue with the Memory seat module located underneath the driver's seat.

You can try disconnecting your battery and doing a "reset" which drains all capicitors in all modules by holding both positive and negative battery cables together for 5 seconds or so and then reattaching them to the battery.
