Had upper and lower ball joints replaced with Moog's .. I was able to find a veteran GM Tech, did them on the spot for 150 in his shop. threw him a case of bud for urgent repair.. Found the intake gasket leaking(externally) hopefully wont see it in the oil anytime soon. * QUESTION*: SHOULD I KEEP DRIVING UNTIL HE CAN FIX IT IN A COUPLE WEEKS OR LET IT SIT?? Also .. after doing it he said it seemed like the truck was lower on one side but it wasn;'t like that so much before...mabey I didnt notice it but now I see it unless its in my head also.. but I'll mesure from frame rails to make sure.. MY Other Q* is when he did the BJ's would something have caused that( torsion bar)? Obviously Im not going to blurt " It wasn't like that before"... I hate that when people say things like that to me.

Which side is lower? Left side (gas tank side) is normally a little lower! It's probably been leaking a while unoticed If you have something else to drive let it sit!! If not drive it and keep a close eye on it!

The torsion bars need adjusting from time to time, from my experience. I just measure each side, and make sure they're close, within a half inch or so. It will change when you have a full tank/empty tank, etc. If you want to get really hardcore, you can measure the driver's side with a full and empty tank, split the difference, and match it to the passenger side. These rigs don't really care though, and unless you're a professional driver, driving at the maximum of the vehicle's capabilities, you won't feel the difference in handling between a full/emprty tank.

Thanks for the info. Finally got some pics posted, i think that was more difficult than getting the actuall ball joints done.
