Does anyone know if I can upgraded my 2012 Tahoe LT DL8 mirror to the DL3 UFT?
My new garage is really narrow, so I need folding mirrors. From what I have read, I should be able to upgrade to the DL3 folding mirrors if I get the correct driver's and passenger's window switches.
I went ahead and purchased the switches that are supposed to be from a car that had folding mirrors. So hopefully I won't need a dealer to reprogram my switches now.
But this got me thinking... Can I take this a step further and get the DL3 UFT mirrors. These are the onest that have blindspot assist?
Would this work? I have sensors on my bumper already for backup. Would I need new wiring, or is that functionality already there? Would I need my recently purchased switches reprogrammed? I know these switches were from a car with DL3 mirrors. I don't know if they were from a car with DL3 UFT mirrors.
